Pricing and billing
One price, billed by the second.
Price
| Standard runner | $0.002 per minute, up to 2 vCPU and 8 GB |
|---|---|
| Billing unit | Per second, no per-job minimum |
| Free | 2,000 minutes every month |
| Seats and sizes | None to buy or pick |
For comparison, GitHub-hosted standard 2-vCPU Linux runners cost $0.006 per minute, with each job rounded up to a whole minute (GitHub’s price list, checked September 27, 2026). Try your own numbers with the calculator or vitko runners estimate.
What is billed
- Each job, from the moment a runner takes it to the moment it finishes, to the second.
- Waiting in the queue isn’t billed.
- Test parallelization: the parts are billed while they run; the original job’s wait for them isn’t.
- A job that fails because of our runners (for example, a runner lost mid-job) isn’t billed. Your own test failures are.
Statements
Each month you get a statement: every job with its billed seconds and cost, next to what GitHub would have charged, with your 2,000 free minutes applied. You can check every row against GitHub’s own job records. During the private beta there’s no card on file and no automatic charge.
Spend limit Private beta
You can set a monthly spend limit. At the limit, new jobs wait in GitHub’s queue instead of starting. Jobs already running finish, so the month can end slightly over the limit, by what those jobs cost. See Spend controls.
