GitHub Actions runners for AI coding agents
When your agents spend most of their time waiting for CI, the runner is the bottleneck. Vitko Runners makes each run faster and cheaper, with limits an agent can’t raise.
In short
Vitko Runners runs your GitHub Actions jobs on our own compute engine, at $0.002 a minute, a third of GitHub’s list price. You switch a job by changing one runs-on line. In CI Bench v1, with warm starts and test parallelization it was 2.29x faster than GitHub-hosted 2 vCPU at 84% lower cost per job.
Less waiting on every push
- Warm starts. Jobs start with your toolchains, packages and Docker images already in place, so agents stop waiting for the same installs on every run. Warm starts
- Test parallelization. One workflow step splits a test suite across parallel copies of the job and reports one result. Test parallelization
- Jobs at once. You set how many jobs run at the same time; extra jobs wait in GitHub’s queue.
Spend an agent can’t run up
- A hard monthly spend limit (private beta). At the limit, new jobs wait instead of starting.
- Ceilings for API tokens and CI jobs. They can lower a limit but never raise it past the ceiling an admin sets, so an automated tool or a coding agent can’t raise its own budget. Spend controls
- Billed per second, at $0.002 a minute, with 2,000 free minutes every month.
Our own CI runs on it
Measured on our own CI (72,728 jobs, September 1–28, 2026): our per-second price came to 71.5% less than GitHub’s list price for standard 2-vCPU Linux runners, rounded up per job and before included minutes. Our jobs ran on our own runners.
